Tom Hall,  the industry leader at SVA decided he wanted to pay for one of our tickets as a thank you for the help that we have given him there. This is certainly a great blessing.  The Academy let us use their card to book the tickets.  After booking them we find out that we must present the card that the tickets were purchased with in order to get our boarding passes.  This presented us with a bit of a problem, since SVA does not want to send their credit card to El Salvador!

I email the "E-desk" and asked what we needed to do to make sure we could get on the flight anyway.  They responded by the next morning and said that we had to have the card and to let them know if I wanted  them to process a refund.  Meanwhile we called their 800 number and the man there said not to worry about it.   Hmm. . . what to do?

We decided that we didn't want to take a chance, so after asking a few quistions and receiving quick answers back fromt he e-desk, I ask them to go ahead and do a refund.   That was last Sunday.  It is now Thursday and we have not heard any reply.  We did get an email from TACA.COM confirming our flight though!  So I guess we are going with those tickets.  We are going to see if we can borrow the card from the Academy and have my Mom drop it off on the way back through.  Also it looks like you can check in online and print your boarding passes ahead of time.  I am hoping this will be sufficient.

We appreciate your prayers in this matter.  We really thought it was final when we baught tickets. . . but it seems that for us, nothing is final!   God is good and he is using this to teach us how to wait on  him.
