Continuing to share
Submitted by somertyme on Fri, 2009-08-28 08:20
It has been so amazing to see the outpouring of love and support for Baby Meriah. I have no doubt that God has responded to the prayers of many people. While Christopher continues to post updates on Meriah, I was thinking that there may also be other prayer requests or praises that we could share. This experience has brought us all together and we have certainly seen God at work. Please feel free to share other prayer requests or anything else (poems, stories, blogs, songs, photos, etc.) with the rest of us at the nolessdays community. I look forward to seeing God continue to work among us.

I have learned that I am not doing my part in giving things to God and having faith that he will come through. I need much prayer that I grow and learn to really be still and wait for his answer. I am in need of two new kids for my day care with how things are, times are tough to have a business. So I gave it to God and have to learn to sit and wait for his answer even though I want it now, which is VERY hard for me to do. That is where I need my faith to grow and know he will open doors. So all please pray for me. Please keep lifting the Williams family up, they will need all our support and love.

I will keep this in prayer. I think this is something that many of us struggle with, I know I do. But I have seen God at work and I believe He will provide for your family and all of your needs! You have been a blessing and encouragement to all of us through this difficult time. Thank you.

I also will be praying for you. You have always be an inspiration to me with the way you have raised your girls. If we had more parents that raise their children the way you do we would not many of the problems we have in the schools system. I will be praying for your daycare. I have close to the same problem. I have no problem with giving God my big problems. It's my small problems that I have trouble with. I keep saying I know He's so busy with every body's problems that I don't want to bother Him with my little ones. But, the Bible says we are to give ALL to Him, and then remember that His timing is not the same as ours. Sometimes that can be very hard.

Praying for you as well.

I was just telling Adam today that our original idea for NLD being a place for Christian community is being fulfilled and can be even more by continuing to share needs and lift each other up. I know that this experience with our baby has opened my eyes to the real change that prayer can make. Somehow our participation means something in the universe. I've struggled to understand this, but I think I am becoming more content to believe it just is true...and that's ok. Imagine if we were all praying for each other the way everyone has been praying for Meriah...imagine if we were all praying for the Holy Spirit the way we have all been praying for Meriah...for Somalia, Iraq. The list is endless.

It is so good to see you on here! Please get some rest!

Amen... and the crazy thing is, I'd kinda given up on NoLessDays ever being much of anything to anybody. How just like God to wait for us to give up, so He can make something beautiful.
babs says:
I'll give that a second AMEN Christopher! How appropriate God waited until now to open our eyes...
