Another update from my dad:
Other news. The helicopter is in Puerto Princesa waiting for the
storms, rain and winds to subside and then we will most likely be
seeing it in Kamantian. Wow. that is something I never thought would
happen. I don't know what other people think, but that is, way cool.
I am excited to see it. You know i really like this kind of work. It
is so much more exciting than the rat race in the USA. Oops. Sorry,
don't take it personal. Sometimes the rat race is neccessary so hang e
in there and don't feel too envious towards us. This week is week of
prayer at Kunsuli. Ma went with me the first day but then the Tamlang
flooded and she was not up to getting across so I went across on the
rope and squelched my way up the soggy trail. The students are really
excited to have week or prayer and when I show up they all run to the
door and meet me with outstretched hands all wanting to shake my hand.
I feel like I am some sort of royalty. Don't often get that kind of
treatment other places. So I have been getting lots of exercise and
well washed every day. Ma and I are both malaria free at the moment,
so wow what more could you want in life, than to just have all our kids
here.
