I Can Breathe
Submitted by mountainmama on Fri, 2011-05-27 20:13For the past three and a half months I have been battling a monster that has been raging inside of me and seemingly having it's way with my body. It has no name, I don't know where it came from, and so far, there is nothing that seems to be able to destroy it.

Journey to the Taw't Deram
Submitted by londijoy on Mon, 2010-05-10 23:36As the appointed departure date drew closer, I found myself unable to sleep well as I was always thinking about what might happen when we made our epic journey to the Taw't Deram, the feared cannibals of Palawan. Not sure if I was more concerned about being AMONG the Taw't Deram or more concerned about how we were going to GET to the Taw't Deram, I was restless and prayerful.

Willing to be Unacknowledged
Submitted by riojano on Fri, 2009-12-04 12:19At Christmas time each year, the battle once again heats up over references to Christmas. Businesses and government, as institutions that in some way reflect public sentiment, make decisions regarding how they will relate to the yuletide festivity.

Sweet Forgiveness
Submitted by Aunt Judy on Mon, 2009-11-30 19:30Sometimes a song just kind of grabs you...and sometimes you are not even sure why. It might be the melody, the instruments, or the lyrics. Sick and barely passing
Submitted by tgeorge on Sat, 2009-11-21 17:39My Adult 3 class is one of the hardest at this university. I am currently passing, but I didn't do as well on the last test as I would have liked to. My final is this Monday, and the reason I didn't do so well on the last test was because I was sick. I am currently still fighting the illness, so I stayed home from orchestra tour this weekend on strong recommendation.
