I am finally back into our beloved mountains and with our people after an extended stay in the capital for writing purposes (writing two volumes of Bible studies for our native pastors to use in the local dialect).  I found out that I had grown used to having people around all the time, and got pretty lonely.  But it was wonderfully spiritually rejuvenating to have more time for study

i'm so glad it is finally the weekend.  i'm hopefully getting my neice today to keep her overnight and bring her to church with me.  My little siblings are gone so the house is going to be fairly quite(yea).  I'm planning to take my 2 year old cousin and go strawberry picking with her today.

When I was a kid, we always had a cat or two hanging around the house. Without fail, whichever cat we had at the time would jump up on the lap and lay right in front of the book I was currently reading. I didn't think twice about gently tossing the cat off the lap so that I could get back to my reading.

My days begin at 7:00 am when I go out in search of my workers.  Usually they find me, or I track them down pretty quickly.  This day I saw Lopez riding by on his bike.  When he saw me he said "No trabajo hoy!" so today i had another rude encounter with my History teacher.  she handed us some papers back and I just asked if we would be grading them. (i'm still getting use to what we do in there, and all these wierd worksheets).  she said,"no i'm just giving them back to you to look at", i thought she was serious but when she came back and said i don't appreciate you asking me

Well not much has happend since last time.  this morning a did something stupid.  I got some chocolate milk and opend part way.  well I forgot that I did and went to shake it up.  My cousin and a few other people were sittin with me.  I also had white pants on.  the milk went all over me and my cuz.  she screamed really loud, and like the whole cafe was lookin

What a shock to pull up the news this evening: "Big Brother" Bush is hosting the pope this week -- and the news says he's pulling out all the stops.  What a slap in the face to separation of church and state!  Washington has been stripping us of our liberties lickety-split, and apparently come far enough that Bush feels quite comfortable paying the pope a public honor unlike
